The Plymouth GTX took the best of the Road Runner and added higher-end touches and trim to make for a nicer overall experience, earning the GTX the title of Gentleman's Muscle Car in the process. This 1969 model is a gorgeous example of everything the GTX was about. Under the hood is the numbers matching 375hp Super Commando 440C.I. V8 engine mated to the numbers matching heavy duty A727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission. To have a numbers matching engine is one thing, but having the numbers matching transmission is truly a rare sight and shows that this GTX was well cared for throughout its life. Features include power steering, power brakes, 3-speed windshield wipers, A04 basic package, door and body side moldings, factory tachometer, N96 Air Grabber hood, and many other standard features included on the GTX. The exterior is finished in correct Y2 Sunfire Yellow and is accented by the correct V1X black vinyl top which is in excellent condition. The interior is correct P6X premium trim grade black vinyl with bucket seats and C16 woodgrain center console.
