Classic Chevrolet Inventory
V
Chevrolet listings at Ideal Classic Cars have included a 1956 3100 Cameo pickup and a 1973 Nova SS, along with convertibles, coupes and other trucks. Equipment runs the gamut too, from factory air conditioning, Muncie four-speeds and Positraction rear axles to crate V8s, aftermarket fuel injection and Vintage Air on the restomods.
A Protect-O-Plate is the embossed warranty plate GM issued with new cars of the era, and a build sheet records the options a car carried from the factory. When a listing mentions either, or a numbers-matching engine, ask us about it, and feel free to have an independent inspector verify the claim at your expense.
- A big-block 1971 Monte Carlo has been offered
- Pickups and a K5 Blazer restomod have been listed
- Restomods with GM LS and LT1 engine swaps
- Protect-O-Plates and build sheets with some cars

Classic Chevy Bel Airs and Novas
V
Our 1957 Bel Air listings have shown two ways to enjoy 1950s Chevrolet style. One convertible kept the period look, with a 283 V8, a continental kit, rear fender skirts and wide whitewalls. A restomod convertible instead combined a fuel-injected 5.7L LT1 and a 700R4 automatic with Vintage Air and disc brakes at all four corners.
Novas make a popular base for modern V8 power. A 1973 Nova SS restomod we offered carried a fuel-injected 6.2L LS3 crate engine listed at 480hp, a 4L70E automatic, Hotchkis suspension and Wilwood front disc brakes. See our classic Chevrolet Novas page for more on the model.
- 1957 Bel Air convertibles in period and restomod trim
- LS3 crate power in a Nova SS restomod we offered
- Overdrive automatics and disc brakes on updated cars
- Modern gauges and air conditioning on both restomods

Browsing our Venice showroom is free, since it also serves as a classic car museum; we ask only that one member of each group answer a short four-question survey, and the gift shop has something for every age. Seeing a Corvette or Chevelle in person shows you paint, chrome and stance in a way photos cannot.
For buyers out of town, every car we list can be seen in high-resolution photos along with HD start-up and walkaround videos at no cost, and more footage is available on request. Our buyers range from seasoned collectors to people buying their first classic, so no question about a Chevrolet is too basic to ask.
